To Whom it May Concern:

I have recently completed a “spec script”, entitled “Between the Lines".

Bridgette is born with some very serious health issues and rather than deal with these issues, her mother abandons her daughter and husband, leaving the raising of their child to her husband Bob.

Although devastated that his wife has made the decision she has, Bob knows that this will be an incredible opportunity to be a full-time parent to his young daughter, after losing his two older daughters many years ago.

Bridgette has a very difficult childhood. In school, due to her health issues, she is intellectually slower than other kids her own age. She develops a huge inferiority complex that the kids pick up on and take advantage of. Not knowing any better, kids begin to bully and harass Bridgette.

Her father introduces his daughter to the Olympic sport of Girls Fast-Pitch Softball. He believes that participating in the sport, will compensate for the tremendous rejection and verbal abuse she experiences early in her life.

Almost overnight she grabs ahold of the sport. It’s clear to everyone that she is an incredible talent.
Just as she begins to achieve a high level of success, and while chasing a ball into the street during a practice, Bridgette is involved in a terrible automobile accident which initially threatens her life.

Bridgette refuses to accept any form of defeat. With her dad’s love and support, and her friend Jeni by her side, Bridgette begins to embark on her long road to recovery.

I have no previous writing credentials and I'm sure there are the usual errors for a first-time writer.

Writing this story which is loosely based on a true story, obviously became a labor of love for me. There is no doubt this is a story that most people can identify with.

Please allow me to forward a "spec script" to you for your consideration.

Thank you.

Most Sincerely.
